Biography
Rob Helfenbein is Assistant Professor of Teacher Education at Indiana University-Indianapolis and adjunct faculty in the Department of Geography. A former middle and high school social studies teacher, Rob offers courses in Middle School Methods, Teaching Secondary Social Studies, Education and American Context, and a graduate level course in Education and Social Issues. His current research interests include critical geography, cultural studies of education, urban education and youth culture, and curriculum theory.
