Evidence from a growing body of research supports PBL's link to higher test scores, more positive classroom environments and the development of critical thinking skills in children of all ages. As the narrator states, "many things will have to change" to foster widespread adoption of PBl in schools. Teachers need more time devoted to professional development and team planning with far less time devoted to test and teacher evaluation prep.
